Campaign website for Christina Thorholm

Partnered with Christina Thorholm’s Folketingsvalg campaign team to design and build a high-performance, accessible website. Looking back, this project marked the first time I crafted a website for a client — an experience that truly shaped my growth as a developer.

What I delivered

• Custom responsive design

  • Crafted pixel-perfect layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile using CSS Grid and Flexbox.
  • Ensured fluid typography and scalable SVG assets for crisp rendering at any resolution.

• Performance optimization

  • Implemented lazy-loading for images and background media; preloaded critical CSS and JS.
  • Minified assets and used modern delivery techniques to achieve a sub-2 s First Contentful Paint on mobile.

• Accessibility & best practices

  • Achieved WCAG AA compliance with semantic HTML, ARIA labels, and keyboard-navigable components.
  • Added “skip to content” links, high-contrast variants, and alt-text for all images.

• Interactive components

  • Built an Animate On Scroll-powered hero section with SVG logo animation.
