For the 2025 city election, I partnered with Nicklas Petterson from Venstre to create a campaign that would resonate with the voters of Valby and Copenhagen. The goal was to present a candidate who is deeply connected to the city, approachable, and ready to make a difference.

Approach

The campaign's visual identity was built around authenticity and clarity. We wanted to move away from the stiff, traditional political campaign look and instead embrace a more dynamic and personal style. This involved a consistent visual style, modern typography, and photography that captured Nicklas in his element—moving through the city and connecting with the environment around him.

Outcome

The centerpiece of the campaign was a political campaign video that was praised for its genuine tone and high production value. It successfully highlighted Nicklas's vision and his roots in the community.

In addition to the film, I designed two flyers to be distributed in Copenhagen. These print materials were designed to stand out in the mailbox, using bold visuals and concise messaging to communicate Nicklas’s key political points. The use of Copenhagen’s well-known towers helps clearly place the material in a local context and makes it immediately recognizable as connected to the city.

To maximize impact in key areas, we developed a targeted strategy for Valby. This specific flyer was designed to speak directly to the local residents, addressing neighborhood-specific issues and reinforcing Nicklas's dedication to the local community where he wanted to focus his attention.
